When I saw than official IAF game was coming- I was pretty excited- because personally I am a MiG fan and there ain’t very much flying sims where you can take the ‘21 or ‘29/35 into the air- so it all began. As I was waiting for the game to come out- I was already dreaming of shooting the “non-Pakistani” F-s out of the sky, terrorizing their ground troops with a variety of different weapons- all stuff like that. But my dreams were shattered the moment I downloaded THIS ABOMINATION and opened it on my IPad. There was no menu, no starting screen- the first thing I saw was a pretty decent modeled training plane L-39. “Hah, using a training plane for a tutorial mission- a good sign”- I thought. I waited for a starting message to appear- it just didn’t. “Weeeell, I guess I’ll have to restart the game- it was just released after all”- nervously sweating I said to myself, restarted the game- NOTHING HAPPENED AGAIN. Then, suddenly I realized- THIS WAS THE WHOLE GAME. NO, I MEAN IT. NO START SCREEN, NO MISSIONS WHATSOEVER- JUST YOU AND AN L-39 IN AN EMPTY “Open world”. Saddened, I tried to fly the plane- the flight model seemed pretty well done- for an arcade game of course, yet still well done. Next, I saw several red dots on the radar- the enemies and decided to take them on. En route there I found out THAT YOU LITTERALY CANT DIE IN THIS GAME. YOU CANT CRASH INTO THE GROUND, THE ENEMIES AIT EVEN SHOOTING AT YOU- WHAT IN THE GODDAMN WORLD IS THAT? Now let’s get to my favorite- the weapons. You have 3 different kinds of weaponry- the guns that are all buggy and glitchy- sometimes they even shoot in the wrong direction, something shooting purple (THEY ARE REALLY PURPLE) objects that, as I guess was supposed to be URP, and something that throws objects down the plane- I guess the bombs. THEY WERE EVEN FAR TOO LAZY TO BUY/DOWNLOAD STOCK ROCKETS/BOMBS PROPS FROM THE UNITY SHOP. OH JESUS WHAT IS THAT? As far as I can say- DO NOT DOWNLOAD THIS PIECE OF INDIAN PROGRAMMING UNLESS YOU WANT TO SEE LITTERALY ONE OF THE WORST FLY SIMS ON IOS. How this thing passed the quality control? Are the IAF THAT tight on budget that the best thing they could afford was THIS THING? Well, I guess we’ll never get an answer- but as far as I can see- what we have here is a typical example of what’s in my homeland, Russia, “распил”, a corruption scheme where most of the money that was issued to be spent for some governmental project was, instead went into the “right people”’s moneybags and as a result we get an underfunded crappy result. Well, to sum it all up let’s just say that they did one hell of a job, if they wanted to give us an unfinished piece of a code that only shames glorious Indian Air Force. 0/5 Ответить
