  • Baugrimus Baugrimus, 20 августа 2017 в 07:24:03   # Well, its been a long time since I wrote a review for a game. Ive played a lot of them. And many of them were ok. Many of them haven’t deserved my time to write a review. But not this one!
    First of all, I’ve been playing it only for 2 days, but, man, this game delivers! I am sure you can enjoy it without in-app purchases, but I liked the quality of the game and new fresh battle mechanics so much, that I’ve invested a small amount - 6$. That’s it. I am enjoying it very much with a couple of new Heroes in my roster! So far I have completed 4 campaign acts. One act I successfully did in Elite mode. Ive played PvP 5 times, just to check how it plays - so far, it is very enjoyable to my taste.
    Every battle I played had this nice and pleasant feeling, that with my strategy and knowledge of my heroes I CAN overcome my foes. And I actually DO! So satisfying!
    It starts relatively easy on you, same old tutorials as many games deliver, same system to upgrade your heroes with shards or whatever it is called. Runes to “promote” your heroes so they could have better stats. And something I’ve never encountered before in any similiar games - you can have SET of runes and if you collect them all - you will have a huge bonuses on your character(s)! Now thats what Im talking about! Hello great RPGs with deep customisation. Anyone who wants some depth in character development - you got it!
    A lot of nice passive bonuses from Heroes on the battlefield - like more HP for troops near your Hero, or faster move speed, or attack speed, etc.
    All of this delivers a very complex and very interesting gameplay. Which for me is a good thing! Because I often got bored of battling enemies over and over again, but in this game - every battle is a challenge for me! Every battle is a step into something you don’t expect from your enemy. And I am sure loving it! For example, there is some crystals in a campaign map, when the battle starts - you can destroy them in melee, but! You melee Heroes will be almost dead. Or you can plan ahead and let the enemies move closer to those crystals, then let you ranged Heroes blow the crystals and enemies to pieces! One map has a crystal that regenerates HP for you Heroes and enemies. One map has several crystals that blow stuff up and crystals that do the regeneration! Oh, so much fun was playing those missions!
    And you can speed up battle like 2 times without any in-app purchases! Thanks!
    Besides that, I want to mention the Heroes that you unlock - they are pretty cool, have a background story, do some cool stuff, look really out of this world in a good way - like a crocodyle priest of Egypt. Oh my, such a great character! And how cool those effects look, when you use a skill - yeah! I like to watch it over and over again. So beautiful.
    What I like a lot besides all of that is when the battle starts, your Heroes generate mana, which later on you can spend on using any of you Heroes skill. Plus there are a cooldowns on those skills, so that all makes those fights more challenging!
    Finally, I want to say thank you, dear developers, it IS a great strategy game indeed. Just like the title says it. Thanks, Kongregate! Its been a while, since I had so much fun in a strategy/RPG game!     Ответить

Необходимость в донате с определённого уровня чувствуется, но можно легко обойтись без него, так как много разных доп. боссов, царства, лавки, оракул и тп, где все достаётся бесплатно.
    Достойных аналогов игры не видел)     Ответить
