I have waited 4.5 hours and after I contacted customer support multiple times, where they reassured me that’s everything is okay, the order got cancelled by Getir. This was a month ago and I still haven’t got a refund in equivalent of >100$. There were no refund problems with Yemeksepeti or when I cancelled myself, so it’s not my bank. They just forgot it!     Their customer support will say you that “everything is ok, just wait 15 minutes and everything will be delivered” even you already waiting for literally hours. Seems like customer service just don’t know any other lines besides “Sorry, just please wait 10 more minutes, everything is ok”.

    And it is literally happening once every other time. I did not receive at least 1 out of every 4 pre-paid orders.

    The question is: “WHY THE HELL YOU ACCEPT MY ORDER IF YOU DO NOT HAVE ANY PLANS ON DELIVERING THEM?”

    Stop wasting people’s time.

    Я был постоянным клиентом в Getir последние пол года.
    Но благодаря их службе поддержки, больше никогда не вернусь.
    Голодные курьеры съедают заказы по пути, и говорят, что я не услышал звонок…
    И так было ни один раз
    Больше не вернусь.
    Даже не возвращают деньги за заказ.

I contacted support, they told me error occurred, my order is on its way. 1hr later I contacted support again, this time they told me it’s my fault, I wasn’t home. That’s a lie. I explained, that it’s impossible, as I live on the first floor and see everybody who is coming.
    They told me I’m lying, they will not refund undelivered order and are ending support, because they have other customers.

    Çok sık yemek sipariş ettim. Sorunlar bir yıl önce başladı. Önce tam siparişleri koymadılar.     Не фоток. Не переводов блюд на английский. Всё лагает. Не так давно добавили возможность курьеров в очередь ставить на еде и на том спасибо. До этого было просто «извините нет свободных курьеров закажите как-нибудь в другой раз»

    When the delivery guy came to my apartment, I told him that the Ayran is missing. He replied that he will be back soon and bring it.

    Guess what? Nothing! Nobody came.

    After 1 hour I contacted their live-chat support and explained the problem, they said they will bring it ASAP.

    Nobody came.

    I wrote them 3 times, and 3 times they told me fairytales and promised to contact the restaurant and bring it, but NO! NOBODY CAME!

    Finally the called me and said “sorry, we will bring it ASAP”. Nobody came (4x).

    After 8 hours I haven’t got the item I paid for.

    Very poor service and disgusting client-treatment!

In this case its support promises you to solve a problem saying that they would like to be the best and then… they forget it. Or they gave me 10tl coupon for 40tl-coffee they forgot to deliver. But you will know how big is coupon only when make a next order. Last time my gf ordered coffee and courier couldn’t find a house (I don’t know why, because we could see him in a window) and decided to cancel the order because of “my gf’s fault” - in this case service don’t give you money back. I would like to recommend to avoid this service if you don’t to lose your money :( Ответить

    And once I order burger and they cancelled my order and don’t refund my money. Just said we can’t do that! Total fraud

Last time they even deleted my “previous order” and told me that I didn’t have one. I gave the screenshot shot with money taken, but nothing ‍♀️

    A few of the listed restaurants are really far away and cancel my order, no idea why something that far away would be listed.
    Today it won’t accept my card, which it did all month, and which I used to pay for delivery from another app in the afternoon. Occasionally it also glitches and won’t let you tip the delivery guy. The app has a lot of technical issues that are near daily.

    The interface is also very cluttered, making it hard to find what you need. Otherwise, it is a pretty generic delivery app.

    The service is ok most of the time, but I’ve had orders show up really late, cancelled with no explanation, and occasionally got a soggy bag that was torn and everything was drowning in coffee. Sometimes it is also impossible to get delivery for hours at a time because all couriers are out on delivery, which is a bit bizarre.

Support that that “the courier couldn’t reach me” what was totally untrue. I had my phone lying besides me, nobody called the doorbell, nobody came (bec security calls when someone comes). I tolled my story to support — 6 operators “send me far away”, saying that “courier couldn’t reach me”.     But disadvantages are also big - cannot add my card(not Turkiye) and because of that cannot make an order from a lot of place, you can see some strange errors that doesn’t allow you to make an order(for example, if you order from locals and you are clicking to “order” and you might see smth like “the seller doesn’t have an item”-what itemhow can i know that?no clue from error).

    And then the fun part starts!

    First, their warehouse fell offline and stayed there for half an hour.
    Then, they refused to accept my basket because it was too heavy. Several times. They don’t tell you that until your try to commence payment.

    In the end, after the basket got light enough, they casually told me that they can’t deliver certain products (which?) to my area.

    Thank you for wasting an hour of my time. Worst grocery delivery experience ever.

    Во-первых, постоянно опаздывают, ездят по всему Стамбулу, прежде чем привезти вам товар, что он становится ужасным.
    Во вторых, всегда чего не то доложат, деньги не возвращают, товар не привозят, курьеры врут на каждом шагу.
    Пользуйтесь их прямыми конкурентами,с таким отношением там я не сталкивался.

Айфон разрешил второй входящий звонок (режим сна), и меня бодро по-турецки что-то начали спрашивать. Я начала разговаривать по-английски, сразу бросили трубку. Не было бананов, теперь нет ещё и сна. But today I’d like to thank Getir for being reliable in these weird times. I’ve noticed that Getir changed their delivery to contactless quite early and then allowed to tip couriers.
