1) Transition from vidget doesn’t mark appropriate post as read.
2) Subreddit icons sometimes don’t show up in the feed (just grey circles).
3) Impossible to make bold titles in compact mode (so text melds a little bit).

However I don’t like it on the iPad (it uses the same UI as on the phone, which doesn’t really fit the bigger screen) and I’ve also encountered some bugs, like some comments begin to collapse while I’m scrolling through them. Apollo manages to be both functional (hello Narwhal) and visually pleasing (hell no Natwhal).

The dev is a genuinely great person, too. Hope he sticks to his promises, so that we actually get the ideal iPad Reddit app. In the meantime, I’ll be using Apollo on my iPhone and won’t be looking back.

Even slight swipe right on home posts screen regards as back gesture and brings subreddit list and that looses all read progress which is hard to recover as it loaded by small batches and those batches load slowly even on LTE connection Ответить
