They said that it will take 24 hours, but I took longer time. I did not receive any answer in a week. Mean while I have asked them, may be do you need more information. Asked them twice and did not receive any answer (only that they will contact in 24-48 hours). They are layers. I my account has been suspended “.. we are not able to verify your identify..”. Really? Did you try to do that? What’s a big work you did! Meanwhile I loose a client, the time is wasting. My opinion is: you do not work like you should, and do not allow to work other people. Got message from this discrimination company: “We suspended access to your Upwork account because our records indicate you are located in Russia”. So it my fault to be born in Russia. I personally worked on upwork for 2 years. And now you are going agains FREELANCERS who doesn’t have anything to do with politics. You left us a message saying that we can’t work UNTIL WE LEAVE OUR COUNTRY. Is that fair? Is that how you should treat your community ?

Now Im on the edge. This month I will not be able to pay for housing and will live on the street and upwork is to blame. Рядовые граждане России ни в чем не виноваты и из за внешнеполитической трагедии, сейчас страдают не только граждане Украины, но ещё и России. Тысячи специалистов лишились работы и возможностей просто из за того, что Upwork приостановил свою деятельность в России.

Вы абсолютно не правы. Один из лишившиеся специалистов мог сделать революционный дизайн или уникальный монтаж или написать код для ведущей компании. А вы лишаете будущего обычных граждан которые хотят мира и просто реализовывать свои навыки. Ответить

I have a full fledged profile with everything filled up to the tiniest detail and still, I’ve submitted hundreds of proposals with absolutely no response whatsoever. You may try it out yourself but you’ll most likely be wasting your time. Ответить

The last straw was that notifications come an hour after the message. Even if the messages have already been read by the browser version.
Loading messages when moving from chat to chat is just a circus with schizophrenics horses.

And has unstable sending messages support
So if you send the message it disappears
That’s crucial for live negotiations with your client.
Also the mention of the client in the chat through “@“ is not available anymore.

You’d better use web version on your computer. Ответить

Have to use web version for this. Also, your messenger is really slow in general. Even the light version compared to other apps. Ответить

But I can’t work with current version! It has a big uncomfortable feed, with a lot of unnecessary information and unjustified spaces. All the menu tabs always in refreshing state. It feels tike this app has absolutely no cache and loading from 1kbps server.

Even with “Messages Lite” it works very slowly (on 50 MBps connection). Always loading... Really annoying. In the same phone and network the previous version works fine! But it doesn’t available in Store anymore. Very sad. :( Ответить

I used the previous upwork app as it was working ok, but not so long ago they dropped the ‘continue using’ older app button and I had to switch to this.

No online/offline status in the personal chat! To see if someone you’re talking with online you need to go to the chats list and then back to the dialogue! Developer, go back to the IT school or take additional classes.

The only advantage of the app - it works. Slow, sucks, but just works as there is no alternative. Ответить
Mylittlebunny, 18 марта 2020 в 23:20:06 # Got a new phone and notifications are simply not working anymore. App has permission to send notifs, after I open it the counter appears alright, but no notifs for new messages ever. I’ve tried:
— reinstalling the app;
— logging out, restarting phone, logging back in;
— logging out, deleting the app, restarting the phone, installing back & logging in.

Nothing helps, no notifs still, work highly compromised because of that. The app doesn’t even have a bug report feature, only sends you to the website version to general Help section.

With paid connects now and 20% off each new client this is disastrous issue.

2) It is not possible to minimize the proposal so that it is saved, and I would be able to finish it later and send it
3) When I minimize the application, then I open another application, then I return to the upwork application, everything reboots, nothing is saved
4) This is not a full-fledged application, but a simple mobile version of the site. It requires all the time to log in, does not remember the login and password, the last place ... does not remember anything at all. Its terribly slow, it is not convenient to use, the buttons are not large, gestures are not supported

Upwork should be ashamed of this kinda application. You take the money for the service on wesite but the application can not be used comfortable. But most of the time people use mobile ... Ответить
