  Чтобы перенести мою библиотеку уйдет очень много времени, на перенос вручную.
  Сделайте уже что то со сканированием по ISBN. Ответить

• Catchalove, 06 марта 2020 в 08:35:16   # In its structure and functionality it’s the best book catalogue on this market. 1) But for years there are still no twin analogon for the Mac iOS, and you have to manually retape the bibliographic data for your serious writing. 2) But the term “synchronisation” has no any sense here, whence the syncing relies on the Dropbox, dying of its greed (see its reviews here). 3) To be true, you may do the backups on the iCloud, and/or on the Yandex. Disk, etc., though it requires some time-consuming ingenuity. 4) I would prefer to pay yearly fees to the BookBuddy if it would charge itself to store and to sync its backups. Ответить
• Catchalove, 21 мая 2019 в 02:25:33   # I do not see yet whether and how I can use it on my Mac to take directly all bibliographic data from. But it’s certainly helpful in dealing with (real and eventual) duplicates question. It remains anglo-centric, and sometimes grasp French and German and Italian bibliographic data in a rather odd way. (I never even tried to add in anything in Russian.) Somewhere there is an unavoidable “human factor” (a young highschool graduate who manually types in the would-be “digital data”.) Thus, every addition you make have to be thoroughly re-read. Every perfection has its limits. Ответить
• Catchalove, 17 мая 2018 в 17:09:14   # It’s almost perfect now. It recognises now easily (relatively new - not elder than 20-25 years) books in all other, and not exclusively in English, languages. An odd paragraph “Genre” is filled by the source bibliographers very arbitrary, and you then need to re-fill it manually for your needs and tastes: but this is not a faut of the application. Pity, they still hesitate to make a mirror twin application for the computers (for Apple Store first :), as this would facilitate enormously the routine work for everyone writing articles and books.
