Frafm, 02 февраля 2024 в 05:45:54 # Купил, так как снимаю в raw на 14 Pro Max. Глючит и тормозит. Удивился такому на айфоне. Не ожидал. На маке работает хорошо. Но хочется, чтобы приложение работало на телефоне без торможения. Ответить

Zvv114, 03 июня 2022 в 06:36:14 # Прямой импорт с камеры NIKON невозможен, так как редактор её не видит, а через промежуточную загрузку на iPad из установленного на камере качества RAW+JPEG оставляет только формат JPEG. На снимках отмечен формат RAW+JPEG, а в информационном окне только JPEG установленного разрешения. Редакция возможна только для RAW файлов отснятых камерой в чистом NEF (RAW по-никоновски) формате.
В целом заявленные функции выполняет, а применение для гаджета, как мобильная альтернатива ноуту и настольному ПК, вполне оправдано. Ответить

-Интерфейс пестрит немного, после ЛР. Нет или не нашел точечного редактирования, но это не критично

Потестирую еще немного и скорее всего оплачу полную версию. В любом случае респект создателю! Ответить

-Curves’ UI is uncomfortable because they’re small
-UI is not the best
-Does not support automatically lens correction

However it’s cheap and has most of necessary tools. And batch processing. Please fix shadows and highlights correction UI and I’ll change my mind Ответить

Arttopol, 27 декабря 2020 в 22:33:45 # It doesnt support my lens. Nikon d300s + sigma 17-70. It’s like Snapseed, but with presets, file manger and batch processing. I don’t like apple’s raw editing engine (it’s used here and in snapseed). But it’s cheapest app of those who has batch processing. Affinity Photo works with RAW better (and support higher variety of lens), but cant work with presets Ответить
Kostanye, 27 декабря 2020 в 22:30:36 # Пакетная обработка экспорт или изменения настроек работает на 10-12 raw файлах дальше вылетает. Пробовал отключить настройку use Metal не помогает также разные варианты из каталога фото и из файловой системы таже беда. С jpeg таких проблем нет (для жпегов есть darkroom) и разработчики это же RAW power!? Не так ли? Невозможно съёмку даже из 100 фотографий обработать и сохранить в jpeg. Камера sony 7r2. С кэноном похожая проблема. Ipad pro 10.5 256gb 4ram ipadOs 13.7 жаль конечно я уже луты с настольного лайтрума перенес. Так программа хороша интуитивна в духе Aperture. Еще мешает каждый раз сохранение и процессинг лута (даже когда он не применен) при переключении фото. Для отбора проставления рейтингов программа бомба. Нехватает тэго цвета и внешний xmp файл с метаданными рава(хотябы для отбора использовать в дороге) аля photomechanik. Хотел заменить Лайтрум но увы. В лайтруме проблем с вылетанием нет но экспорт 20равов занимает 6минут примерно столько же применение пресетов и настроек а импорт тоже ооочень медленны. А тут вроде шустро но вылетает. When viewing the images of an album and tapping on the top of the screen - it moves me to the beginning of the album. It’s annoying because I always miss the delete button.
Also please please please add a setting to turn off this tap-the-photo-for-fullecreen. When I scroll the photos it always switches to the full screen and backwards with every next swipe.

And finally after using Lightroom and Capture One it’s really hard to understand what all those self made Black boost and Luma noise names mean. Would be great to have a tutorial for the newcomers. Ответить

1. I studied all the RAW developing software for iOS, and found that RAW Power is the SOLELY fully functional RAW processor in the moment. Only two possible competitors to RAW Power exist for iOS. Consider them in detail, please.

(a) Adobe Lightroom for iOS allows everything of RAW editing. But saving work on disc and any other location is locked except of... Adobe Creative Cloud, which is expensive: $120/year. Unacceptable.

(b) Darkroom has limited possibilities for editing, and allows saving work to JPEG format only. And this output JPEG looks poor: it seems that Darkroom does export of JPEG images with about 70% quality... This sounds as a “mortal verdict” to this RAW processor. Unacceptable.

JPEG is a compressed file format with a huge loss of quality, because the near pixels are equalized on the average therein. The advantage is that JPEG images take much lesser disc space than lossless TIF or PNG bitmap images. The loss of quality due to the so-called JPEG artifacts (the averaged blocks of neighbouring pixels) makes the use of JPEG format unacceptable in professional photography. Besides that, JPEG format has problems with printer calibration. This is why only “general purpose” printing labs like the lately deceased “Kodak Express” accept JPEG: such labs do not carry of the image printing quality. While no one pro-grade photolab accepts JPEG, but only lossless TIFs or PNGs, even if they have a 8-bit depth.

Also, RAW images have a 12-bit or 14-but depth (depending on the RAW version). The additional bits that are over the visible 8-bits contain invisible details in shadows and highlights which appear visible in the image development. Contrary, when lifting the shadows or lowering the highlights in an 8-bit image, new details do NOT appear therein. Because professional RAW development means further post-development in a graphic editor (such as Affinity Photo for instance), exporting work to lossless 16-bit TIF or PNG is strictly necessary.

All the pro-grade exporting features are presented in RAW Power. You can save your edited RAWs as both 16-bit TIF/PNG (if keeping in mind further post-development), or as 8-bit TIF/PNG if you mean that the images are finalized and thus can be sent to print.

2. The user interface and editing features.

2a. In RAW Power you can edit the image curve as you feel needed. Professionally RAW editing begins usually from improving the curve, channel-by-channel, then setting up the white balance according to the sample shots of a grey card. In another RAW processor such as Darkroom, for example, the curve can be lifted/lowered in only a few fixed points; this makes the edited curve non-smooth as a broken line. In contrast, RAW Power allows turning the curve up/down and left/right in any its point as you wish. Very good.

2b. In RAW Power all editing tools are grouped in one pictogram row. You open the tools one-by-one: just one tool is opened on the working screen. As a result the tools do not steal much screen space from the image that you edit.

2c. Fast and very stable work. I tested RAW Power during one week, over many hours and with different images. There was no one case of hanging or non-response of the software. Also, RAW Power worked very fast in every case. I thus guess RAW Power has very small system requirements. This is very good at all.

Finally, I conclude that RAW Power is a pro-grade RAW processor for iOS, which provides all the necessary features for high quality developing RAW negatives, and then converting them to lossless TIF or PNG. Surely many pro-grade photo artists will move to iOS (the iPhone + iPad stack) in the near future. I therefore strict recommend PAW Power for both professional photographers and those amateurs who want to get pro-quality of their photographs.
